女主角丹娜拿著一塊石頭大喊一聲“丹娜”便會化身女超人。因為暴雨水災，娜娜和家人一起逃難到了馬尼拉，蛇魔想用蛇教控制世界，給很多人洗腦，其中也包括娜娜的奶奶，最後被娜娜摧毀，娜娜變身女超人剷除蛇魔後，她的奶奶才清醒，原來世界末日並不存在。
Valentina, Darna's snake-haired archenemy, is trying to take over the Philippines through subliminal messages on religious TV shows. Darna has her own problems; she has lost her magic pearl and with it the ability to transform into her scantily-clad super-self. Trapped as her alter-ego, plucky reporter Narda, she must try to regain the pearl and foil Valentina's plans.
